Who else helps a cine-masterpiece to see the light of the day?

With five stages required for a movie project to reach its destination, the effort and the man power that are required to realize a director’s imagination, need special mention.

Basically, the success of a movie is directly proportional to the efforts of two groups- cast and crew. More often than not, we consider the two groups as one. And there is no deliberate attempt in supposing as such. In fact, the mutual interdependence of both the sides is another reason for such a supposition. However, practically there is a whole lot of difference between the two, both technically and aesthetically. Right from the production unit to the art department to the make-up arrangers to the SFX support, each and every individual in a crew has to take his responsibility to continue the work in tandem and help in bringing out the movie project on time.
Without the proper support of crew members, the cast would not be able to concentrate on giving out their best. It’s true that the performance of stars and the skillful implementation of the scripts by a director are vital to the production process. But let’s not forget that sans crew support not a single shot would translate well into big screen.

I am not in the movie business and so don't know the intricacies of the situation you describe, however I can relate to it.

There are certain issues that are common across all KBs management innovation networks, one of which is leadership. There needs to be strong leadership to facilitate an efficient and effective workforce, and clear and precise communications from the CEO (or Director in your case Gentul) is essential.

Or put another way, England's John Terry wouldn't treat his forwards and backs separately. They are all in one team and so need to be managed together!
